groomed beach right out your front door. Canary Beach Resort has
800 feet of the nicest beach in the Pope County area. It's ideal
for sand castle building contests!
 You'll
enjoy the Centennial Trail, a 13 mile paved, scenic
biking/hiking trail that starts in Villard. Get in your car and
find six golf courses, shopping mall, water park, eight movie
theaters, NASCAR racing, three museums and more, all within 17
miles of Canary Beach.
Guests can enjoy a
leisurely ride around beautiful
Lake Villard
on our pontoon. Fishing boat, motor, and canoe rental are also available.
At Canary Beach Resort, we have great dock fishing. You will
have plenty of excitement with your children as you teach them
new skills. There is no charge for use of power
paddlers, life
j ackets, volleyball, horseshoes, tetherball, playgrounds,
waterslides, hayrides or
shuffle board.
Enjoying a campfire adds to any resort vacation, burners are
available and firewood is sold at the lodge. We regret firewood
cannot be brought onto our property in an effort
to
keep our trees safe from invasive species. In the lodge, we
also have ice, bait, snacks, tackle, clothing, souvenirs and
game room.
